Director KWASU Medical Services Bags 2 Awards

In recognition of her outstandingly ingenious and pioneering contributions in the field of Natural Medicine both as Director of Health services and the Institute of Natural Medicine at Kwara State University, Malete, Dr. Nimat Idris has been awarded a PhD Honoris Causa in Integrative and Complementary Medicine by the African American University, Porto – Novo, Benin Republic.

In a letter of notification signed by the Chairman, Award and Research Committee of the African American University,Dr. Idris was adjudged as genuinely qualified in view of her effort in research in natural medicine among other contributionas a Medical Doctor and scholar.

Similarly, Dr. Idris emerged the best graduating student in 2019 of the Higher Diploma Programme in Alternative Medicine at the Information and Communication Technology University USA; a programme that is in collaboration with the Green Center for Alternative Medicine Practitioners, Nigeria.

The notification of the award of best graduating student stated that the award which came with the Conferment of a Higher Diploma in Natural and Complementary Medicine was after a rigorous two year training in Natural and Complementary Medicine and in honour of her diligence, obedience, dedication, and confirmation of the confidence the College has in her abilities.

Dr. Nimat Idris is the Director, KWASU Health Services and the Director, Institute of Natural Medicine of Kwara State University.
