Engineering students donate teaching AIDS to college

The Nigerian Universities Engineering Students' Association (NUESA), Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has donated six  lecture stands and public address systems to the six departments in the Institution's College of Engineering and Technology.

Speaking on behalf of the 2018/2019 executive committee and members of the association, NUESA President, Adam Musa Abdullahi, said that the gesture was targeted at augmenting the available resources for teaching at the department.

He commended the management and staff of KWASU, particularly the college for providing the students with quality education and sound moral values.

Held recently at the college, the presentation of the teaching aids also featured the conferment of an award of excellence on the Provost of the College, Professor AbdulGaniyuFunshoAlabi, in recognition of his contributions  to the development of the college and humanity.

The students also used the forum to celebrate the birthday of the Provost.

Responding, the Provost, Professor Alabi, said the action of the students is in tandem with the core values imparted to all KWASU students which is to serve their community. He expressed gratitude to NUESA for honoring him and urged other student associations to emulate the gesture of the engineering students.
