KWASU Professor wins N36million Int’l Research Grant

Acting Director, Academic Planning and Institutional Research, Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Professor AbdulRauf Ambali, alongside a team of researchers at the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, has won N36,144,000 (502,000 Malaysian Ringgit) International Research Grant.

This followed the approval of the research team’s proposal by the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS), Malaysia.

The research work, under MyGrants 2017-2019, is entitled Unified Model of Governance in Supply Chain for a Globally Recognised Halal Standard.

A Professor of Political Science and Head, Department of Politics and Governance at KWASU, Professor Ambali will lead the multi-million Naira research project.

Speaking on the development, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor AbdulRasheed Na’Allah, commended the awardee for the achievement, saying he was “really proud” of him.
