KWASU students win Federal Government Scholarship

Students of the Kwara State University (Malete) have won the Federal Government Scholarship Awards conducted for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.

The scholarship, which takes effect from 2016/2017 academic session, was awarded to four KWASU students through the Federal Scholarship Board, Federal Ministry of Education.

The beneficiaries include Gbemisola H. Sambo of the Department of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering (two years); Kaotharat Yusuf Oganija, a postgraduate student of Animal Production (two years); Zainab Abubakar, a postgraduate student of Computer Science (two years); and Malik Adebolade Ghanni (five years).

Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor AbdulRasheed Na’Allah, congratulated the students on the feat and urged them to remain committed to their studies.
