ALASINRIN APPOINTED SPORT COORDINATOR
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has appointed Mr. Semiu Alasinrin of the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education in the Faculty of Education as the Sports Coordinator.
The letter of appointment dated 15th January 2025 and signed by the Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, reads that the appointment is with immediate effect.
Mr Semiu Alasinrin holds a master’s degree in Sociology and Psychology of Sports (2021), a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics and Health Education from Kwara State University in 2014, and a diploma in Health Education in 2011 from Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa. He is currently a Ph.D. student of Exercise Science and Sports Psychology at KWASU.
He is a member of the Sports Psychology Association of Nigeria; the Nigerian Association for Physical Education, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD); the Chartered Public Administrator (MCPA); and the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (CILGPAN).
