KWASU CEEMS Programs
Overview
The Center for Ecology and Environmental Management and Studies (CEEMS) at KWASU focuses on research and postgraduate training in ecology, environmental management, sustainability, and related fields. It offers Master’s and Ph.D. programs, as well as professional short courses and research opportunities.
Admission Requirements
Master’s Degree (M.Sc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Biology, Geography, Agriculture, or related fields.
- Minimum of Second-Class Lower Division from a recognized university.
- Candidates with Third-Class degrees may be considered if they hold a PGD in a relevant field.
- Must satisfy KWASU’s O’Level requirements (five credits including English and Mathematics).
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
- Master’s Degree in Environmental Management, Ecology, or related disciplines.
- Minimum CGPA of 60% or equivalent in the Master’s program.
- Submission of a research proposal aligned with CEEMS focus areas.
- Evidence of academic publications is an added advantage.
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Third-Class) or HND in relevant fields.
- Must pass departmental qualifying exams if required.

- Visit KWASU Postgraduate Portal.
- Create an account and select CEEMS program.
- Pay the application fee (usually ₦20,000).
- Upload required documents:
