Kwara State University, Malete – Main Campus Overview

The main campus of Kwara State University is located in Malete, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State. It serves as the administrative home of the institution and houses major faculties including Allied Health Sciences, Arts, Basic Medical Sciences, Education, Engineering and Technology, ICT, Law, Management and Social Sciences, and Pure and Applied Sciences.

Iconic structures on the campus include the Muhammadu Mustapha Akanbi SAN Senate Building, the magnificent Muhammadu Buhari Main University Library, the ultra-modern Performing Arts Theatre, the Mini Convocation Arena, and several faculty complexes.

As the main campus, Malete hosted the pioneer intake of 550 students when the University commenced academic activities in 2009.

The campus is beautifully planned with wide, well-constructed roads, long rows of eucalyptus trees, green zones, and unique buildings that blend nature with architecture.
