KWASU MLSCN Induction Ceremonies
One hundred and eleven (111) newly qualified Medical Laboratory Scientists were formally inducted into the Medical Laboratory profession.
Four (4) students made first class honours, forty-three (43) graduated in the second class upper division, fifty-one (51) made second class lower, and thirteen (13) students were in the third class category.
46 newly qualified Medical Laboratory Scientists from KWASU received their Provisional Licence to Practice from MLSCN at the 5th Oath-Taking / Induction Ceremony held at Mini Convocation Arena on November 29, 2023.
Speaking during the ceremony, Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh commended the inductees’ achievements and emphasized KWASU’s commitment to academic excellence.
He urged the inductees to continue improving their professional skills to meet evolving challenges in Medical Laboratory Science.
The Registrar of MLSCN, Dr. Tosan Erahbor, highlighted KWASU’s investment in staff and facility upgrades. The inductees were cautioned against unethical practices, with abundant opportunities for success if professionalism is maintained.
Among the 46 inductees, 2 made First Class Degrees, 12 were in the Second Class Upper Division, 27 in the Second Class Lower, and 5 in the Third Class Division.
