ASUU KWASU Chapter Commends University Management for Implementing New Minimum Wage

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Kwara State University (KWASU) Branch, has commended the management of the university for implementing the new minimum wage.

In a letter of appreciation signed by the Union Chairman, Dr. Shehu Abdulganiyu Salau, and dated January 8, 2025, the union, stated that the implementation of the minimum wage will significantly alleviate the hardship faced by its members amidst the current economic challenges in the country.

The union praised the management’s selflessness and kindness, stating that their belief in the union has been empowering. The ASUU KWASU Chapter assured the management of its continued support and cooperation at all times.
