On behalf of the Senate, Management, Staff, and Students of Kwara State University, KWASU, Malete, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, for his wise and judicious appointment of Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani as the new Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate.
We equally rejoice with the new Chief Imam, the Muslim Ummah, and the entire Ilorin Emirate as we believe that Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki’s appoinment would advance the Muslim Ummah.
The new Chief Imam’s impressive education and his dedicated service as an Imam, educator, and broadcaster clearly marks him as a worthy spiritual leader.
We pray that Almighty Allah grants him long life, sound health, divine wisdom, and the strength to lead the Muslim Ummah with justice, compassion, and excellence.
