The Industrial Training Fund, Ilorin Area office, on Thursday, September 4, 2025, presented plaques and certificates to the Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh and the immediate past Director of Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme SIWES, Dr. Adediran Dauda Adesola.

The Ilorin area office of the ITF made the presentations in recognition of the leadership and exemplary contributions of the Vice-Chancellor in promoting academic excellence and to Dr. Adesola for his service and commitment to excellence, which he displayed all through the years he served as KWASU’s Director of SIWES.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh in his response to the honour, thanked the ITF for the role it plays in fostering hands-on learning to students and stressed KWASU’s commitment to supporting the SIWES as a window for student training.

The presentation was made by the representative of the Area Manager, Mr Onipe Ibraheem, who was accompanied by the Head of Finance and Accounts, Hajia Onigbogi Muraina, Mrs Ijagbemi Alaba, and Mr Adebayo Waheed.
