In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the growth, education, and well-being of the Idigba community and Ilorin Emirate in general, the Idigba Youth Development Association appointed Professor Abdulganiyu Funsho Alabi as the Grand Patron of its Education Committee.

The letter of appointment signed by the youth leader, Yusuf Solihu, stated that the association’s leadership was confident that Professor Alabi would justify the purpose for which he was chosen.

The association expressed optimism that Professor Alabi’s leadership would foster unity and progress in the community.

“Your responsibilities and expectations as Grand Patron include to support the association’s goals and activities in community development, provide guidance and mentorship where needed, and participate in key events that promote the value of our community.
