Professor Laro Ibrahim Abubakar has been reappointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Kwara State University, Malete.
The Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, in a letter conveying the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, stated that the appointment was for 2 years.
Professor Laro Ibrahim Abubakar joined KWASU in 2012 and holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Science and Sports Psychology from the University of Ibadan in 2012.
In KWASU, he has been Head of Department, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dean of Student Affairs, Director of the Institute of Education, and Chairman Sports Committee among several others.
Professor Laro was first appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Education in 2023 before this reappointment.
He is a member of the International Society for Sports Psychology; Nigeria Association of Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sport and Dance; among several others.
