KWASU VC Commiserates with Kwarans on Gen. Adangba’s Passing
The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh has expressed grief at the passing of the former Chief of Staff to former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, Major General Abdullahi Mohammed Adangba (rtd.).
Professor Jimoh who described the late General Adangba, who died at the age of 86 on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in Abuja, as a frontline Kwaran who had served the nation dedicatedly and meritoriously, added that his passing will be sorely felt.
The Vice-Chancellor commiserated with the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq CON; the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR; and the entire Ilorin emirate, praying on behalf of the KWASU Community that Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. He also prayed Allah to console the immediate family and friends of the deceased.
