Brief History

The Faculty of Arts evolved from earlier structures at KWASU and became a distinct faculty after the 2023 reorganisation. It traces its origin to the foundation college created in 2009 and has since grown in student enrolment and academic programmes. Our staff are active in teaching, research and community engagement.

We run undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across Arabic & French, English & Linguistics, Fine & Applied Arts, Performing Arts & Film Studies, and Religions, History & Heritage Studies.
