A one-day mandatory workshop on effective annual report content submission was held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the International Conference Centre, Kwara State University.

Organised by the Committee for Library and Publication, the workshop aimed to help Faculties and Units submit accurate, comprehensive, and globally-aligned annual reports.

Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Olubukola Christianah Dada, stressed that the annual report document will become the flagship publication of the University that will showcase the achievements of the institution.

The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of high-quality reporting to boost transparency and attract global partnerships, urging all faculties and units to deliver accurate and well summarised reports of their activities

The University Librarian, Professor Abdulsalam Salman, noted that when completed, the maiden annual report will be presented to the Visitor to the University at the next convocation.

The workshop was facilitated by Emeritus Professor Musbau Adewumi Akanji, FAS, with active participation from Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments and Units.
