The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has appointed Dr. Latifat Kehinde Olatinwo as the Acting Director, Centre for Gender Studies. The notice of appointment is signed by the Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee and dated August 26, 2025.
Dr. Latifat Kehinde Olatinwo, an Associate Professor of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, joined the service of Kwara State University, Malete from Federal University Dutsin-ma, Katsina State in 2017. She holds a master and Ph.D. degrees in Agricultural Extension from the University of Ilorin and has carried out extensive research on gender related concerns within her field and engaged in community development activities that support women in rural communities.
