The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh, has appointed Dr. Ibrahim Ogirima Salawu as the Acting Director of the Centre for Politics and Corporate Governance. The letter of appointment dated November 18, 2025, and signed by the Registrar, said that the appointment was for a year.An Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and Governance, Dr. Ibrahim Ogirima Salawu specialises in political institutions, governance, and public policy and has been the sub-dean of KWASU’s School of Postgraduate Studies since March 2024.He holds a Ph.D. from the International Islamic University, Malaysia in 2016 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria, a member of the American Political Science Association, a member of the Canadian Political Science Association, and a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association.
