Today, Thursday, February 27, 2025, is another auspicious day in Kwara State University’s entrepreneurship and community development drive. Together with the management team of the Green University for Community Development and Entrepreneurship and the Daudu and Magaji of Malete, I commissioned another Centre for Women Development and Entrepreneurship, this time located at the Entrepreneurship Park, KWASU.
This commissioning brings to 4 the number of the KWASU Centres for Women Development and Entrepreneurship that are located in Ilorin, Osi, Ilesha-Baruba, and now Malete. We have, by this, increased not just the number but also the spread of women benefiting from hands-on knowledge in tailoring and online marketing of their products beyond their immediate environment.
It is my sincere hope that the Malete Centre will also join the other 3 to constantly produce innovative women who would later individually create multiple ripple effects in the different parts of Kwara State.
