The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, today Thursday, February 27, 2025, inspected plastic recycling machinery supplied to the Centre for Technical, Vocational, and Entrepreneurial Training CTVET. The machinery, supplied by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund TETFund, would vastly increase the capacity of the Centre and encourage large scale recycling and production. The Vice-Chancellor was also at the KWASU Water factory to inspect pet blowing machines also supplied by TETFund. Professor Jimoh who expressed excitement at the prospects of increased capacities at the recycling plant and water factory, charged the Centre to prioritize both student training and revenue generation. Professor Jimoh was in the company of his Deputy-Vice-Chancellors, Professor Moshood Mahmood Jimba and Professor Olubukola Christianah Dada; the Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee; the University Librarian, Professor Abdulsalam Abiodun Salman, and other directors of Centres.
