The Vice Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-luqman Jimoh Commissioned 4 Key Projects Executed by the Students of the Faculty of ICT
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, commissioned 4 key projects executed by the students of the Faculty of ICT under the auspices of the National Association of Information and Communication Technology Students (NAICTS), led by Sen. Aremu Abdulwaris Oladimeji.
The projects are 3 solar street lights to illuminate the surroundings of the Faculty of ICT; a mini solar grid to power classes, and the borehole providing water for the faculty; furniture for the ongoing ICT CBT Centre; and 6 mega public address systems for the use of departments in the faculty.
The Vice-Chancellor described the projects as a milestone in student-led development projects at KWASU and commended the faculty leadership for the mentorship and guidance, which enabled the students to initiate the laudable projects.
