The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has congratulated the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON on the historic win achieved by Kwara United Football Club at the 2025 President Federation Cup champions.

The Vice-Chancellor stated that the wins by Kwara United and that of the U-19 category of the team, which also won the inaugural National Youth League, were results of the state government’s investment in the development of sports.

Professor Jimoh added that the investments in sports and the latest feats would encourage more youth to take to sports and bring more glory to Kwara State.

He also congratulated the management and players of Kwara United Football Club, urging them to keep the flag of success flying.
