A delegation from the Man O’War Nigeria, led by the National Commandant, NC Adedamola Gbenga Emmanuel, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, on June 23, 2026.
The delegation briefed the university management on Federal Government-backed efforts to strengthen security in and around educational institutions across Nigeria.
Professor Jimoh, recently decorated as a National Patron of Man O’War Nigeria, commended the initiative, which he said will enhance safety and create a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
Training equipment was later unveiled and presented to the KWASU Man O’War Cadet Unit.
